author's note: this was written for astral_angel. the request is with the story. this one was a tough nut to crack, because i basically had the idea, the feel of it, but had no plot. to say that it has a real plot now would be an exaggeration, but at least it's readable... i hope so, anyways. i'd like to thank phrenitis for the beta.
