Prompt: Elizabeth has to rescue John. I'd prefer action/adventure, but her bailing him out of a political quagmire is also cool beans. Extra bonus points if Cadman blows something up or sets something on fire. Please, no character bashing, and if one or more women have realistic chats, all the better. Mind you, I don't actually LIKE Rodney McKay, so if he is included, please keep his role minimal.
Author's Notes: This story is set some time after Conversion, and references the events of Trinity (well, for Ronon and Teyla, at least). Thank you to [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] for betareading!

Summary: John had thought that knowledge of his little almost-turning-into-bug incident had been isolated to Atlantis.
